The AutumnFest Story
Now in its 16th year, AutumnFest is one of Mebane’s most beloved fall traditions—an artisan juried festival that celebrates creativity, community, and the charm of downtown.
Originally founded by Destination Downtown Mebane, the event has grown into a signature experience for the region, drawing thousands of attendees each year. In 2025, the Downtown Mebane Development Corporation (DMDC)—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to downtown revitalization—proudly took the reins to continue this vibrant tradition.
AutumnFest features an exceptional lineup of hand-selected artisans, makers, and food vendors, along with live entertainment and family-friendly activities. This curated approach ensures a high-quality, community-centered experience for all.
All proceeds from AutumnFest directly support DMDC’s mission to strengthen, promote, and enhance the vitality of downtown Mebane—helping to fund beautification efforts, small business support, and community events throughout the year.
With new additions and expanded programming, we’re excited to welcome even more guests in 2025 as we aim to grow the event’s reach and impact.

About the Downtown Mebane Development Corporation
Downtown Mebane Development Corporation (DMDC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) responsible for managing Mebane's NC Main Street Program. This program is an invaluable resource that provides education, support, and funding to help Mebane spur economic growth, preserve historic assets, and create jobs.
